Bible Study

Bible Study is in session on Wednesday nights from 7:00PM – 8:00PM in the church sanctuary, and Thursday from 12:00PM - 1:00PM in the fellowship hall. It is always a growing experience as we feed our souls upon the Word of God. Come and be blessed as we experience the Bible on a personal level, and renew commitments to the Word of God as we increase in our knowledge of Him.

Sunday School

Come and experience the biblical teaching of our Sunday School sessions at Morning Star. Our teachers are always excited to teach every Sunday and you are sure to be enriched from the Word of God. Our classes are broken out by age group among our youth, and by sex among our adults. Sometimes we combine our men and women’s classes for an even richer experience. Sunday School is held every Sunday from 9:45AM – 10:30AM.

New Member Orientation

New Member Orientation is a 5-week class required of all members joining the Morning Star Church family. The pastor teaches the class each Sunday and gives each new member a chance to get to know their pastor, as well as allowing the pastor to get to know the new member. A Biblical foundation is laid for the new member through the introduction of 5 specialized classes.

Computer Lab

The Computer Lab Ministry at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church is a growing ministry dedicated to doing God’s will.  Our goal is to educate and enlighten the community with enriching courses that will enable individuals to reach their full potential. Courses are available for youth, adults, and seniors.  We have and continue to provide classes that focus on computer and software skills, job training and readiness, and use of the Internet or World Wide Web.  Additionally, our computer lab maintains educational software that reinforces learning in subject matters that include biblical study and research, math, reading, writing, spelling, basic arithmetic, science, history, foreign languages, and standardized testing (e.g., SAT and ACT preparation).
