Hospitality

The Hospitality Ministry will greet visitors to the church on Sunday morning. They send out thank you cards to each visitor, birthday and anniversary cards to the members, prepare New Member Orientation materials, plan our Family and Friend’s Day celebration, and coordinate a quarterly fellowship on a Wednesday night where appropriate instruction is provided for all areas of life.

Singles

The Singles Ministry is a unique opportunity to learn more about pleasing God as a Single Christian. We look at the Bible to study scripture to assist the singles with the struggles commonly faced in today’s hectic society, as well as strive to lay a Biblical foundation for those who desire to either remain single, or enter into holy matrimony. It is not just another Bible Study session. The Single’s Ministry gets out and attends functions outside of the church and hosts an annual Single’s Weekend in August.

Marriage

The Marriage Ministry strives to strengthen the marriage bond of every couple of Morning Star. We meet once a month and enjoy good Bible Study, fellowship, specialized instruction, and even getting out on the town together for an occasional change of pace. Movies, plays, and bowling are some of the activities we have enjoyed. Come on out and strengthen your marriage bond.

News Letter

The News Letter Ministry creates a quarterly publication of what is going on at Morning Star. They interview members as well as other ministries of Morning Star, and create articles on community events to help us to know our church better, and the happenings within our community.
