William A. Henderson, Sr was born September 3, 1963 in Galveston, TX to the proud parents of Littleton J. Henderson III & the late Lois A. Henderson.

Pastor Henderson is a graduate of the College of the Mainland in Texas City, TX with a Associate of Arts in

Pre-Engineering, & a graduate of the University of Houston - Clear Lake with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He is also a Certified Systems Engineer through the EDS Corporation Systems Engineer Development Program.

He has attended Ashland Theological Seminary, the Duke Divinity School, & has received his Certification in Expository Preaching through the E. K. Bailey International Expository Preaching Conference.

Reverend Henderson has pastored the Providence Missionary Baptist Church of Mount Gilead, NC; where he also served as Vice-Moderator for the Little Pee Dee Association, & was twice guest speaker for the NAACP of Montgomery County.

Currently Pastor Henderson serves as the pastor of the Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church of Durham, NC; where he has pastored for the last ten years. He is also Vice-Moderator of District II of the New Hope Association, and President of the New Hope Union. Morning Star has enjoyed tremendous growth spiritually, financially, and physically. We have also celebrated the retirement of all mortgages.

Reverend Henderson is married to the lovely Shanequia L. Henderson & they have been together 21 years. They have two children: William II (age 15), and Maranda (age 9).
